AFC Championship – Brady leads Patriots over Chiefs in overtime

For the 57th time in his NFL career, Tom Brady engineered a game winning drive. This one was extra special though, as it propelled the New England Patriots to a 37-31 overtime win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium, the AFC Championship and a spot in Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta on February 3. Brady wasn’t his usual calculated self in post game interviews. He was a combination of giddiness and emotion as he stated, “the odds were stacked against us,” referring to the Patriots rebounding from a 9-5 record and back-to-back losses in December to win the AFC East for the 10th straight season.
