The Los Angeles Rams are headed to Super Bowl LIII after beating the New Orleans Saints 26-23 on Greg Zuerlein‘s 57-yard field goal in overtime; however, the Saints will have a bitter taste watching the Rams take on the New England Patriots, after a blown pass interference “no call” late in the game likely cost the Saints a win in regulation.
The football world is reacting to the colossal blunder and placing total blame on referee Bill Vinovich’s crew. Sean Payton stated the league office admitted to him that the crew “blew the call” and that he and the team would “probably never get over it.“ Pro Football Talk reports that the NFL will publicly admit to the mistake this week.
